If you are going to troubleshoot your faulty air conditioner this chart may help you

Problem	Possible cause	Solution
Unit doesn't run	No power	Check chord,plug, Socket, Switch And MCB/Circuit Breaker
	Switch faulty Or PCB Faulty	Check On/Off switch by Continuty tester Or check PCB Input and output
Fuses blow	Circuit overloaded.	Put on different circuit.
	Voltage Low or High	Check the stabilizer. Repair / replace stabilizer
	Temperature Setting Incorrect	Check Temperature setting
Cooling	Air Filter dirty.	Clean or replace air filter.
inadequate	Heat exchanger coils dirty.	Clean coils.
	Motor faulty.	Check And Replace motor
	Compressor faulty.	Check And Replace compressor
	Refrigerant leak.	Check for leak and rectify
	Temperature Setting Incorrect	Check Temperature setting
Fan runs, but	Thermostat/ Sensor faulty.	Check thermostat/Sensor; if faulty, replace.
unit doesn't cool	Coils dirty.	Clean coils.
	Refrigerant leak.	Check for leak and rectify
	Motor faulty.	Replace motor
	Compressor faulty.	Replace compressor
Unit cools, but	Control switch set wrong.	Reset switch; try different settings.
fan doesn't run	Fan clogged.	Clean and tighten fan blades.
	Fan blades bent.	Straighten fan blades.
	Fan motor faulty.	Replace fan motor
Unit turns on	Coils dirty.	Clean coils.
and off repeatedly	Air Filter dirty.	Air Clean or replace filter.
Icing on cooling coil	Coils dirty.	Clean coils.
	Coil Sensor Faulty Or Misplaced	Check Coil Sensor And Place on Desired Location
Unit drawing too much current and then tripping	Run capacitor  Defective.	Replace the capacitor
	Wiring Incorrect	Check All Connection
